WHAT A DIFFERENCE!!! The first time I vacuumed through the house, I was truly ashamed, because the chamber was full of dog hair and dirt, after only vacuuming one room! The Hoover picks up anything and everything, and you will be amazed how much dirt has been hiding in your carpets! Now I feel like I have not vacuumed for three years, because the Hoover keeps on picking up dirt and dust out of my carpets (mind you, the dirt is decreasing).

I am a very clean person and I cannot stand dirt, but I vacuumed with my first vacuum cleaner on a regular basis and I figured that it would be enough. VERY WRONG! It really depends on which vacuum cleaner you are using and, if you have dogs that shed, the bagless Hoover is what you want to get. It is a dream machine!

I also love the feel of my carpet after vacuuming, because the Hoover seems to lift up the carpet and gives it that nice and clean feeling when you walk over it barefoot. It feels like you just shampooed your carpet. I really, really love it, and I will not buy any other brand EVER again.

The disadvantages are that it seems pretty heavy and it is a bit messy to empty the chamber. However, you will save lots and lots of money for bags and the dirt chamber can be rinsed out with water. This way you KNOW that you are not spraying dust everywhere. If you use a vacuum cleaner with a bag, you tend to keep the bag for longer and really fine dust sprays out through the pores of the bag. Not so with the bagless Hoover. You vacuum, you empty the chamber, you wash it out, and, voilà, you are ready for your next cleaning frenzy.
