I bought this steam vac off of Gadget.com for 70.00 when they were having a sale. I am so glad I found this.

You just fill the resevor up with water and plug in the cord, which is very long. There are different settings, you can set it on, steam or spray and then vacuum after you clean the carpet. It has a small scrub on the end of it, that helps alot. This is basically used for small stains, It would take months to clean a whole carpet with it.

I have a cat that on some occasions likes to sneak in the corners of the living room and use the bathroom. This steamer does an excellent job of cleaning it up. The smell is completely gone.

The only problem that I have had, is that once you clean up a stain that certain spot you cleaned is 10 times cleaner than the rest of your carpet. So my fiance has been cleaning little sections of the carpet everyday for the past few weeks. Now most of my carpet looks brand new and I have had the same carpet for 7 yrs.

It is also very easy to clean up after use. All you do is take off the nozel and the filter pops right out. I just use hot water and rinse it out.
