For Christmas this year, my husband had bought me the Dirt Devil MVP Upright. It was ok, but I really wanted the Dirt Devil Vision. I loved the styling of it and, for $40 more in price, it had a higher rating.

He took back the other one and bought the Vision Lite. I LOVE THIS VACUUM and so does he (which is a very tough task to do!)

This vacuum is very lightweight and is much more quieter than other vacuums I have ever used. The manuverablity is incredible! The swivel casters make this a breeze to move (and control).

I have very low pile burber carpeting, which is VERY VERY hard to keep clean. Even after a profession carpet cleaning, it still has dirt in it. (The test is my 2 sons and how dirty the bottom of their feet get after a day of play in the house.) I was completely amazed at how much dirt was left in my carpet! After going over the same area (and empting the canister 3 times), I was still picking up dirt! (By the way, my carpets were cleaned just before Christmas!)

This vacuum also has a Micro Filtration System. This system works very similar to the Hepa Filtration System. It picks up 99.97% of all dust particles and allergens which is great, especially if you have children.

I HIGHLY recommend this vacuum. The price, especially right now after Christmas, is great. We paid $130.00 at Wal-mart, however most Wal-marts do not have this vacuum in stock. The easiest way to get it is on their web page: http://www.walmart.com/. It sells there for $138.96. I just happened to be at the right place, at the right time in order to get that price!

I am so glad that Dirt Devil has finally come out with a vacuum that could be considered the equivalent to the Fantom (in aspects of performance, not price!).

I also thank Dirt Devil for coming out with a matching vacuum toy for my sons to "help me" with the cleaning.
