We bought the Rainbow SE in the early fall of 1994. We were expecting our first child and our dog had a bad summer with fleas. The Rainbow representative showed us how clean our house could be, but the #1 reason we bought it was because when you vacuum up fleas and their eggs, they die in the water and their gone. We never had fleas in our house again. The Rainbow comes with different attachments to use for the stairs, curtains, kitchen floors, and upholstery. You can also purchase scents, I recommend the Lavender. Your whole house smells wonderful and it is clean. We even let it run standing in the middle of the room because it pulls the floating dust in. I would never buy another vacuum again.
