Just went and bought this new vacuum….WOW!!!!! It really picks up the dirt. You don’t realize you have a lousy vacuum until you buy a vacuum that when you turn it on it pulls cobwebs out of the corners…kidding, but the suction is superb!!! I like the fact that when you put the handle in the upright position that the roller stops turning. The attachments have the same amount of suction power that the vacuum itself does, AND they don’t fall off because they are neatly tucked in their own little compartment. I have 2 dogs that shed like mad, and boy…this vacuum picks up the hair…on carpet…and on hard floors!! No more “hair bunnies” floating carelessly around on my floors anymore, I highly recommend this vacuum. It is a little pricey…but ‘you get what you pay for’. The canister is relatively easy to dump…no more bags for me (except under my eyes from staying up to vacuum all night).

Okay…..to fill you in on the particulars after using it for a couple of weeks now, from the top to the bottom of the super sucker….
let’s start with the handle and power switch, it’s right up there on top, easily accessible…no problems…
the attachments are on the top front in an enclosed “cubby hole” they include a dusting brush, a furniture nozzle, and a crevice tool. On the side of the vacuum is the extension wand and the crevice wand.
When I say the attachments are powerful…THEY ARE!!! I could swear they have the same amount of suctions as the vacuum itself!!! But that is my own personal opinion and not a stated fact.
Moving down to the body of the vacuum…..the filtration system……WOW!! is my house dirty!! haha!! The filter itself pulls out easily from the side with it’s own little handle. It has a full sized lid that comes right off…and I am YET to have a messy emptying of it!! I have also NOT noticed any difference in the suction whether it has a lot of debris or a little…that’s a good thing! I haven’t had to change the filter yet, but if I continue to clean as often as I have been, I’m sure it’ll be a snap after looking at the manual!!
On the reverse side of it is the carrying handle and the cord wraps. The cord is a long 30 feet….which in itself is a great thing (coming from someone who worked with a 12 foot cord on my previous vacuum of 12 years)YAHOOOOO!!! Also on the back is the hose. It is a nice hose that bends and moves readily, although a little short, but I quickly look past that because of it’s ease of use, all attachments connect wonderfully!
As for the “suction” part….IT IS AWESOME!! The vacuum, when the handle is in the upright position (it has 3 different positions), stops rotating…I at first thought it was broken (haha!). But a neat feature when you put on one of the attachments. You can also set it to 3 different height adjustments. And the best part, I think, is you also have the capability of totally turning of the agitator brush for hard wood floors. It has a nice headlight (which catches all my dog hair bunnies in motion). The wheels are soft padded, so no marring of my wood floors.
It has a one year warranty with proof of purchase.
Let’s talk about the circuit breaker for a minute…I found out how to use this, unfortunately, because the suction is so great…..let me tell you a little story…
I was vacuuming along at a beatnik pace, over here…over there…behind a chair…and then (I have berber carpet mind you) I pushed it up against my baseboard and it sucked 6 feet of berber right around the agitator wheel!!! Well, I got the berber out and reglued it into it’s proper place (it just about looks normal—and anyone who has berber knows where I’m coming from). I wiped my now sweaty brow, went to go finish my vacuuming, and the agitator wheel wouldn’t turn….of course, the first thing through my mind it….great! one week old and I’ve managed to break it already!!! NOT SO!!! It has a built in circuit breaker, so if you do manage to suck something up that you never meant to, it stops the agitator wheel immediately…thank goodness….or I wouldn’t have ANY carpet left!!!
Now a couple of thoughts….it is a little heavy (good muscle development), and I kind of miss my “lower front handle” of my old vacuum to do the area rugs (get over it-it cleans waaaay better than your old one!!) And it is loud (just turn up your CD player a little louder and sing at the top of your lungs!!)
My recommendation to anyone that wants a great vacuum….buy this one!!! You will not be sorry!!
