This vacuum deffinetly works! It will suck the life out of anything and every thing in its path! When vacuuming with this make sure every thing like rugs and clothes do not come within 3 feet of it because it will suck it in and it is pretty difficult to get things out of it. Not to mention it stops he vacuum experience and waists easily five minutes trying to dig the reminence of the product out of the vacuum. This product does not work too well on hard surfaces though. I thought with the sucking power that it had it would surely do a job on a hard surface. I bought this vacuum because I wanted a descent vacuum with an affordable price. I also liked the sleek design and the fact that it came with a nice variety of attachment tools. the attachment tools are a pain to use! They also do not suck very well, I was very disappointed about this, being this is one of the main reasons that I bought this vacuum was for the attachments so I could clean the baseboards and ceiling fans. The base of this vacuum is very bulky so a lot of things are hard to vacuum like under beds , under cribs, or in the kitchen area. This vacuum is also very loud! Everytime I turn it on my sixth month old screams, which he did not do with the old vacuum. This vacuum is good for really dirty open carpet areas! Other than these qualifications it is not the best! I would spend the extra money and something a little quieter, less bulky, and with better attachments.
