Steam - There ain’t none.
Heated - Oh really! Give me a break.
Steam - There isn’t any!!! In fact the instructions say do not put water in at great than 140 degrees. How are you going to get steam from that? As to heated, if you call the air cooling from the motor as heating the water - well I have a good piece of desert property to sell you. Basically I don’t like being lied too. No matter how you cut it the statements that Hoover makes are REALLY stretching the truth.
BUT
It cleans pretty damn good. In fact it cleaned better than the “Man with a Van” we had in here two months ago. We also used it on two of our oriental carpets and it did a cracker jack job.
Discounting the bold face lies about steam and heated I’d whole heartedly recommend the cleaner to anyone.
WalMart sells the cleaning fluid for $15.96 and they even had a cheapy version for $8.96 both for 128 oz.
Didn’t try the cheapy version but I’ll try a small bottle next time.
