When I first considered buying the Roomba Red, I was VERY skeptical to say the least. I did my research, weighed the pros and cons, and decided to purchase it.
It was the best decision I ever made!! Roomba has cut my cleaning time in half!
I primarily bought Roomba to use in-between regular vacuuming. I have three dogs and the pet hair was ridiculous!! Upon purchasing and using my new Roomba, I realized that I was only going to have run my conventional vacuum once over 2-3 weeks!
I love the fact that “he” (Roomba) is quiet enough to run while I am on the phone or watching TV. Also, his ability to get along baseboard, transition from hard floors to carpet, and run right underneath chairs, tables, and end tables is AMAZING!
While he doesn’t get surface “dirt” as well as a conventional upright, his unique brush and beater bar gets the deep down pet hair, dirt, and dander just as well if not better! I ran my regular vacuum in my living room and then let Roomba go at it! Three cleanings in a row, and Roomba was still grabbing pet hair that had been dug into the carpet!!
I would recommend this product to anyone wanting an easier way to vacuum. Beware though, you will probably end up naming your Roomba just like I did!!
