With two kids and two dogs, I’ve been through two Bissells already. I purchased the Oreck Steemer on QVC at a considerable savings and am pleased with the results. The only disadvantages are that you have to use the Oreck solution, which I also purchased at QVC. Unlike the Bissell, the Oreck water tank doesn’t hold a lot of water and you are constantly refilling it. It also uses a lot of cleaning solution but the solution leaves a very clean and lasting scent. It is very lightweight unlike most of the other steam machines and the upholstery attachment is very easy to use and leaves beautiful results.
