I live with a husband who spills everything, his twin brother who is just some disgusting “goo” that somehow walks the face of this earth, two small dogs (one called “tinkles”) and two kittens. I have very light beige carpeting throughout my entire house. Well, it used to be!! I was going to buy a steam cleaner and then we had a major electrical problem and my priorities put that first and it costs!! So for a “quick-fix”, I bought this. Man, was I excited to get home!! You know, it works. Actually, if you only have A spot, it’s fantastic. I had many spots. Some older, some newer. For the most part, they came out pretty good and the room smells much fresher. So now that I’ve got the spots done, if I clean spots as they appear, this will work just fine….but I still need a steamer/extractor for my high traffic areas!! The suction is not that great. I didn’t use a huge amount of water and cleaner because I didn’t want to have to go over and over it and I found myself having to do that anyway and never really getting them completely dry. This is exactly what it is called, “A Spot Remover”.
