With pets and a baby, I often have spills on our carpets and needed an easy to use spot lifter. This was not the one to get. I regret this purchase constantly and it now resides in our closet and was replaced by the Green Machine.
This handheld vacuum does not do the trick. Even with fresh spills, this was not strong enough to fight the stain and in many cases, caused me even more work.
There were too many steps involved to get this product ready to go, and then when I’d try to get a stain up, it wouldn’t work. The brisles on the brush are too soft and don’t really penetrate the stain to break it up. The machine emits way too much water and leaves a huge wet spot on the stain area. The suction is not strong enough to suck up the immense amount of water that it lets out.
This was a waste of money. I have yet to be able to get a stain up fully with this handheld wet/dry vac. There are much better products out there that work better and actually allow you to scrub out spots on carpets without leaving a big wet mess and the original stain.
