We are currently in the process of trying to sell our home. We have tile throughout the house and no carpet, but for some reason we can’t get the dog smell out of the house. We’ve tried Fabreeze, Air Fresheners and just about everything else. We’ve had a Bissell Big Green Clean Machine for years but it’s a pain in the neck when it comes to putting it together and it’s very bulky.

We went into Target and Purchased a lower priced spot cleaner. When I got it home I realized it was a piece of junk and returned it to the store. I then purchased the Bisell Little Green Clean Machine with ProHeat. At $99.00 I expected this little baby to be able to handle the tough task of cleaning my couches.

About the Cleaner

The Little Green Clean Machine with ProHeat comes nicely packed in a box with the following parts:

~Tough Stains Brush Tool

~Turbobrush Cleaning Tool

~Sample bottle of cleaner

~Base Unit with hose (comes fully assembled)

How to Use the Cleaner

Attach the brush tool of choice to the end of the hose. Fill the chamber with cleaning solution and warm water. It is not necessary to use extremely hot water because the cleaner has a built in heating mechanism to keep the water heated for optimum cleaning.

The TurboBrush has a rotating brush and is used for deeper stains. While on the hose, you simple push the button and the water mists out and either have the selector on “brush mode” or “suction mode”. It is very easy to switch between the two during cleaning. When the water has reached the correct temperature the heat indicator light will illuminate. You simply move the brush over the desired area and the solution is sucked up along with the nasty dirt! It’s that simple.

How did it work for me?

What an easy machine to use. Not only did it take me 3 minutes to get it ready it worked like a charm on my couch. There was no stray water like I would get with the Big Green Machine. It sprayed evenly and the water remained warm throughout the cleaning. The suction was strong enough to pick up even some of the dog hair on the sofa. The couches even smell better! There was so much dirt in the collection container when I was done.

Cleanup was a breeze. I just removed the collection container and rinsed it out. I removed the solution container and rinsed it out. Wrapped the cord around the cord holder and wrapped the hose around the hose holder and that was it!
