I read the Epinions before I bought this, so I did my homework. This is not a 5 star vacuum, but it is not a piece of junk either. It does an amazing job of cleaning, in that it has pulled so much dirt and dust out of our carpet. The negative is, because it does suck up so much dirt, it needs to be emptied and/or cleaned frequently. Despite the fact that the vacuum says it needs to be rinsed out every few weeks/months, I discovered that it needs to be rinsed out after 2-3 uses. Mind you, when vacuuming, we’re doing the whole 2 bedroom apartment in one session. If you have bad allergies (as my wife does) you should have someone else clean the vacuum for you, because it will capture a lot of dust in it. After cleaning the vacuum, it needs to COMPLETELY DRY before you can use it again. This will take 24-48 hours to accomplish, so plan accordingly. I’ve only had the vacuum for a few weeks, but I have not had any major problems with it (knock on wood). This is not the world’s greatest vacuum, but it is not as bad as some people make it out to be. Overall, I am very happy with this vacuum, and I give it a POSITIVE rating.

After some feedback on my original review; I have added these additional details: The Infinity comes with several attachments, all of which are pretty easy to use. The only problem I have with the attachments is not being able to get the hose down into my dryer to vacuum out the lint trap. The Infinity is NOT a “light weight” vacuum. However, I am able to lift it up and push it around pretty easily (and I have a surgically repaired left knee). The Infinity is not a self-powered vacuum, but I prefer that because it’s easier for me to move it backwards. Additionally, when cleaning out the vacuum’s “Cyclone chamber” remember to take the WHOLE THING apart. There are TWO separate compartments in the vacuum, and both need to be cleaned out in order to prevent clogging.

FYI the vacuum weighs 20 lbs.
