We are actually taking this one back, and getting the more expensive one.

The hand tools are really important to me and these just don’t fit my needs. The hose is too short, and it isn’t powerful at all for that use. That confounds me though, because the vacuum is very powerful for regular vacuuming. In fact, it made my carpet seem like new after the first time we used it.

I think that this vacuum is fine for someone that doesn’t put a lot of importance into what a vacuum “IS”. I am just very particular about what I want. But all around, for basic living, it should be okay. I just didn’t like it at all, for ME.
