I purchased the Bissell Spot Lifter about nine months ago, and it has been one of the best appliances I have ever used. I have light colored carpet, white furniture and two dogs that are always tracking in dirt or making messes of their own. I literally use it every day, and every time it completely cleans up the stain.

I have a full size carpet cleaner, but no one wants to bring that out for small messes or spills. It is so convenient to instead grab my hand held Bissell. The battery does run down after about 10 minutes or so, but I don’t mind since you get the benefit of it being cordless.
