My family has owned a Rainbow vacuum cleaner for over 15 years now. My mom purchased her first Rainbow when I was in junior high, and even though I couldn’t care less about cleaning house at the time I still realized this was a neat-o vacuum. You can do almost all of your household cleaning with this vacuum. It uses a water filtration system instead of bags or filters, and has attachments that come standard with the machine for dusting and sweeping. You can also purchase attachments for mopping, shampooing carpets, upholstery, etc. You start out with a fresh basin of water each time you clean, so there’s no worry about germs/bacteria being left over from the last time you cleaned. There is also a wide variety of fragrances and cleaning products available. Ever since seeing how the Rainbow vacuum works, I refuse to clean with anything else.

The Rexair company has been in business for almost 70 years. They use word of mouth advertising, so this is not a product you are going to see advertised on the TV. I suggest looking in the yellow pages of your phone book under "vacuums" to see if there’s a dealer near you. Some used vacuum stores do carry Rainbows, but I do NOT suggest purchasing a Rainbow there. Only authorized dealers can get original parts and offer warranties.
