Simply put this is the best vacuum cleaner available. Sure, I was skeptical at first. But my mother bought hers in 1982 and it is still running. It has only been serviced once at a minimal cost of $100 or so. I have a long aired cat and a cockatoo (very dusty ‘Baretta’ bird). I could not breathe until I bought my Rainbow E-Series. I financed it thru the distributor and paid no interest since I paid it off within one year.

I don’t know why people are complaining about the clean up…all you do is dump the dirty water out and quickly clean the separator. This takes, oh, an extra minute… You will be astonished at what the water looks like even if you keep a relatively clean house. This thing works!

Sure it is big and bulky. The cord sucks because it doesn’t retract, but I can easily live with such shortcomings if it means no allergy attacks.
