I have been trying to find something to clean my stained concrete floors. This vacuums the floor and scrubs/mops! What more could you want? Don’t worry about it leaving a mess of water on the floor afterwards either. Here’s all you need to know:

You do have to assemble the FloorMate when you get it. The assembly is VERY SIMPLE! It even comes with “fast assembly” instructions. Sample bottles of floor cleaner are also included (one bottle for hardwood floors and the other bottle for hard floors).

Once it is assembled, vacuum up the dry debris on your floors using the “dry” setting. It’s recommended you empty the container after dry vacuuming but it’s not required. I did not empty mine and I see why it’s recommended…it’s a mess to clean up afterwards if you have hair or dirt on the floor.

After dry vacuuming, measure the floor cleaner (in container provided), add water and with the switch of a button, you are scrubbing your floors. It has suction along with scrubbing that allows the floor to dry quickly (less than a minute). No more waiting on wet floors!

After you have finished, simply empty/clean (a few easy steps) the tank and it’s ready for the next use.

I read a few reviews that said it drips some of the solution out on the floor when you switch tanks. I have not had this problem yet myself. I will update if I do.
