This thing is great! I picked one up at Walmart for $29.00. Can’t complain. It does the job. We just got a puppy recently. He’s only 13 weeks old and hardly toilet trained so this thing is a godsend.

The battery doesn’t really last that long, but that’s expected for a cordless device of this weight. If cleaning time is critical to you then I would suggest going with a corded portable cleaner like either the DirtDevil Spot Scrubber (has revolving brushes), or the Bissell “Little Green Machine”. If you can clean up in short bursts, then the cordless really is convenient. Some people have complained about the handhelds and recommend getting a “real” cleaner. I used to have one, but hated using it. Getting out a big thing and lugging it back and forth fairly often chasing after pets is a real pain. This thing is basically the size and weight of a handheld dustvac.

The thing really is effective. Our puppy has been eating mushrooms in the yard, so lately his stools have been really loose and hence extra messy. A pickup of the major parts with some paper towels, and a pass over with the Spotlifter cleans it perfectly. Takes all of 5 mins. It’s also great for dealing with everyday spills (wine, juice, water, etc.). Best way I could have spent $29.
